Verse 20 Love, What we cannot meet but get anyway.

Galatians 5:14
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Leviticus 19:18
You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

Romans 13:9
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

So can we do that. Can we love truly? Do we really respect our parents? Have we never thought of someone else apart from our partner,(in that way)? Have we called someone a fool, or similar? Have you kept the truth from someone? Have we kept something which was someone's property, say like a pen they lent you, with no intent on giving it back? All measures of love that we can fail on. And James says,
James 2:10
For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it.
Yet Jesus has perfect love, and He has perfect in His love to God. And because of that love, for His Father and for us, He showed it on Calvary.
1 John 4:10
In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
You either try to rely on your own love which fails, or His which is perfect and casts out all fear about your eternal future.
